RV MECHANIC & SNOW REMOVAL $19/hr.

Full-Time, Year-Round.

This position is for skilled mechanics only.

Starting wage depends on verifiable experience.

Must own your own tools.

Regular Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM.

Snow Removal days vary with the weather “ if the snow falls, we work “ regardless of holidays.

Snow Removal start time is usually 6:00AM.

Our shop is in South-Kalispell, near Gardners RV and the John Deere dealership.

Glacier RV is an RV Service and Repair company that started four years ago with a mobile van and a master technician. Since then, weve expanded to include in-shop services and repairs. We also help our sister company, Upkeep, with snow removal operations to stay busy through the Winter.

This position will require you to perform repairs and maintenance on the interior and exterior of all types of RVs. (Bumper-Pull trailers, Fifth Wheels, and Class A, B, and C Motorhomes.) Installations and replacement of OEM and aftermarket products on these vehicles is a large part of this positions responsibilities, as well as performing PDIs (Pre-Delivery Inspections).

Primary Job Duties include Diagnosing and Repairing:

115 Volt AC functions including Ground Fault Interrupters.

12 Volt DC functions including inverters and converters.

Potable water systems.

City water systems.

LPG/Propane.

RV-specific appliances (Refers, Furnaces, Water Heaters, etc.).

Entertainment centers and their components.

Cabinetry including Rough-out and Final stages.

Onboard holding tanks and monitor panel functions.

Chassis components: Wheel bearings, leveling systems, suspension.

Secondary Job Duties include:

Interacting with Clients “ striving to be friendly and professional.

Snow Plowing, Blowing, Shoveling, and Deicing in the Winter months.

Riding and/or driving around Flathead Valley “ to and from jobs, picking up supplies.

Maintaining company vehicles and equipment “ greasing, oil changes, air filters, etc.

Job Requirements:

RVIA Certification or Master Certification preferred, but not required.

Substantial mechanical skills for maintaining and repairing equipment.

Must have your own tools.

Valid Drivers License, and good driving record.

Must be highly skilled towing and backing trailers, as well as large vehicles like motorhomes.

High School Diploma or GED.

Excellent attendance and reliable transportation to work.

Must have an iPhone or Android phone, with adequate data plan.

Ability to work well with clients and coworkers.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to walk, stand, bend, and kneel for a long period of time.

Ability to work outside all day, as needed.

Ability to lift 75-lb., as needed.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Legible handwriting.

Professional appearance.

Must have a positive, will do attitude.

Must be trustworthy, respectful, and hard-working.

Must take pride in your workmanship, striving for excellence.
