The Dana Gallery is looking for a friendly, self sufficient individual with great customer service skills, and an immense love for Art and the community to join our team.
The gallery assistant/sales position requires great customer service skills along with basic computer knowledge/typing, and organizational skills. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs sometimes repeatedly and be comfortable with heights. Working toward or having obtained an art degree a plus but not required.
Job Description: As gallery assistant/sales you will assist with show prep (Hauling art, Basement organization, prepping/painting walls, hanging walls, and show lighting.) Other gallery duties will include general cleaning, answering phones/emails, checking in new work/returning work to artists, assist with customer service and sales, shipping, and learning about the galley and our represented artists.
