The Bus Rider is responsible for the safety and entertainment of children while on the bus. Implements appropriate bus safety rules and positive behavior reinforcement for children riding the bus. Works collaboratively as part of the transportation team. Functions as a substitute bus driver when needed. Communicates effectively with parents/guardians. Maintains confidentiality and attends scheduled bus crew and program-wide meetings and training.
