Bitterroot Heritage Academy is a private Christian school with a unique approach to education. We are looking for a Paraprofessional to work with our K-2 Teacher and assist specifically with a student that has special needs. Our goal is to provide an excellent educational environment for students of all learning types and styles. We do this by engaging students in Experiential Learning and evaluating learning through Concept Mastery. Experience with special education is preferred, but not required; we are open to providing on the job training for the right candidate. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and signing the school's Statement of Faith. Job includes monitoring students during bathroom breaks, lunch, and recesses, assisting students with their classwork, and collaborating with the teacher for lesson instruction and demonstration.
