We are looking for someone that is looking to gain a high level of understanding around the fermentation process of kombucha, kimchi, and sauerkraut.

This is an apprenticeship that will start as a production team member with the hopes of this individual to step into a Production Manager position as training completes and we launch a new product line and gear up for our vending/festival season. It's going to be an awesome year!
This is a part time position to start and will lean towards full time as we move forwards
Job requirements are as follows but not limited to:
Drafting Invoices in Quick Books
Prepping orders going out weekly
Delivery driving/merchandising (both Helena and Missoula) Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record
Brew Kombucha and be able to operate equipment (measure ingredients, follow recipes, Ect.)
Production Prep: Clean kegs, wash bottles, plan production/manage inventory of finished goods and ingredients
Bottle/keg kombucha/clean production space(wipe down, mop, sanitize, ect)
Process and pack kimchi, sauerkraut, pickles
Be open to the potentials of setting up and vending at farmers markets and local events
Must be able to safely lift 25 - 50 lbs on a regular basis
Looking for someone that knows how to put in a hard days work, is self motivated/directed, takes responsibility for ones self, and is on time and reliable. This position starts at $13/hour (Negotiable on experience level) and will swiftly jump to $15 when training is complete. Hourly wage has potential to keep growing as the apprenticeship comes to an end and position takes on more responsibility.

By the end of this apprenticeship you will have a deep understanding of the fermentation process from start to finish. You will see what it takes to bring a product line from idea to final product launch. You will learn every facet of operating a food business and gain valuable life skills that will have broad application. We want to find someone for a long term position that wants to grow with a business that it's self is experiencing lots of growth.
