Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a lead chef.
Strong leadership and team-playing abilities.
Ability to hire and manage a sous chef.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Wine experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Menu Planning: Design and develop daily menus, ensuring a variety of high-quality, locally sourced ingredients that align with the ranch's standards.
Meal Preparation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and a 4-5 course dinner, ensuring consistency, taste, and visual appeal.
Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff, including a sous chef, fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.
Inventory Management: Oversee the purchasing, inventory, and management of kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring cost-effectiveness and minimal waste.
Quality Control: Maintain the highest levels of food quality and safety, adhering to all health regulations and Forbes property standards.
Guest Interaction: Engage with guests when necessary to ensure satisfaction with meals and accommodate special dietary requests.
Wine Pairing (if applicable): Utilize wine knowledge to recommend pairings that enhance the dining experience.
Innovation: Continuously explore new culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen and all equipment are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
