we are a dine in and take out cafe serving breakfasts and lunch 7 days a week 6am- 6pm
We are looking for excited open minded people to join are team. We need someone who can handle super busy time as will as slower time. we are a small place so you will be crossed trained in other area. We need both some one who can work weekends and week days.
Summary: Responsible to cook food, prep product and help with customers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following but not limited to:
Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders
Preparing and serving food items such as soups, burgers and pastries
Answering customers’ questions about menu choices
Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
Taking payment from customers
Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs
Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu
Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner
Focus on customer satisfaction
Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages
Be efficient and organized
Build good relationships with customers
Maintain a clean work environment
Keep supplies replenished to minimize downtime
Qualifications:
Experience in working in a kitchen.
Understanding how to prep food and Handle Orders
Able to follow directions
Work in a timely manner
Willing to learn new thing
Able to work as a team
