1889 - Steakhouse is located in the old Mercantile Building in downtown Missoula. We are a locally owned, classic steak house, with nightly dinner service. We are currently looking for an experienced pastry chef to join our team. This position works daytime shifts 7am-3pm and is responsible for all baking and dessert preparation and menu development.
Applicants should have 2-3 years of experience in baking and pastry, preferably in a fine dining atmosphere. Applicants should have the ability to self-manage and work independently while also collaborating with the chef and the kitchen management team.
Compensation is dependent on experience with the hourly wage offered ranging between $16-$20 per hour. This hourly wage is supplemented by a substantial tip share program, averaging between $2-$4 per hour.
