Overview

To ensure proper service of food and beverages, including taking orders and delivery of items ordered while also maintaining cleanliness at your station.

Essential Duties

• Greet members in a friendly and courteous manner, and explain any specials and/or clubhouse promotions.

• Have knowledge of food, liquors, wines, and services we provide to answer any and all questions the Members might have.

• Set up your station including filling any missing items before, during and after your shift.

• Check wait-staff area, dining room, and patio before, during and after your shift to insure a clean and professional atmosphere.

Additional Duties/Responsibilities of the Position

Responsibilities- To ensure complete member satisfaction with Dining functions; and to maintain an excellent standard of cleanliness.

1. Duties-

a. Provide Exceptional Service. Stay on the floor and available to members.

b. Keep Dining areas clean and organized.

c. Write the details of food and beverage orders, input into POS system. Replenish beverages as necessary and check for overall member satisfaction. Present the check to the member promptly and follow proper check out and bookkeeping procedures.

d. Serve the member immediately as meal is prepared and present the correct meal to each member, as well as appropriate condiments. When serving items that need condiments get them ready before the meal is ready.

e. Keep mini-fridge and wait area reach-in clean and well stocked.

f. Be aware of the preferences of the Members; use this information to improve their experience.

g. Stock folded napkins, Silverware, Glasses, Sugar and Salt and Pepper as needed. Continue to serve and clean up tables as needed.

h. Stay in contact with the Service Captain regarding the need for supplies. Make sure you understand any and all things that need to be done on your shift.

i. Abide all state, federal and corporate liquor, tobacco, and health regulations.

j. Complete all closing and side work duties.

Education and Experience Requirement

• High school enrollment, diploma or successful equivalency completion required.

• Food and beverage customer service experience is preferred.

• Bartending experience is preferred.

• Hospitality industry knowledge is preferred.

Working Environment/Physical Demands

Prompt, regular attendance is required. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, Stock Farm employees will be required to work varying schedules, holidays and or positions to reflect the needs of the club.

Must be able to stand for long periods, lift light loads up to 50 pounds, twist, bend, and walk for potentially long hours. Work schedule may include part-time to full-time hours with overtime as necessary.
