WORK AT EL CAPITAN LODGE THIS SUMMER!
El Capitan Lodge is a full-service saltwater fishing lodge located in Southeast Alaska on Prince of Wales Island. We accommodate 20 guests per group and consider El Capitan to be one of the best in our industry, with a 90% customer return rate. From our remote location, our guests enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our chalet-style lodge, excellent salmon and halibut fishing, gourmet cuisine enhanced with local seafood, and personable staff.
Positions to fill:
USCG Licensed Captain/ Fishing Guide (inquire about compensation package)
Bartender
Housekeeper
Crew Cook
Kitchen Prep/dishwasher
Floater – rotates through various positions.
Massage Therapist (inquire about compensation package)
Pets are not permitted.
Dates are from early to mid-May through mid- September; Pay is hourly/DOE, plus room and board, gratuities. Gross approximately $18,000-$20,000 in 4-month period. Schedules will vary every week; all employees at El Capitan Lodge work 6 days/week with one full day off. Minimum age of 18. No felony convictions. Must have an upbeat, outgoing attitude and be willing to accommodate customers in a pleasant and friendly manner.
All employees at the lodge have their own crew cabin with heat, TV, wireless internet and linens provided; We are remote with limited/no cell service. There are activities available on days off, like canoeing, hiking, fishing in the cove in front of the lodge. There is much wildlife around us from Humpback Whales, Sea Otters, Orca’s, Bald Eagles, Sitka Deer, and the occasional Black Bear.
