I am seeking a caregiver who is willing to help me with the following:
light housekeeping
meal preparation
medication reminders
dressing
occasional showers
foot and lower-leg care
general shopping
community integration, including front-row seats to all seasons of Missoula Children's Theater plays
The environment and schedule in my home are fairly relaxed, though weekends are required. It is helpful if you know that I have autism. Considerations that become more important because of this include:
punctuality is essential, but on rare occasions when you might be late, you must text or call me
changes can be stressors, and should be approached delicately, preferably with lead time
grocery lists will require exact products
my social responses and needs may be different than other people's social responses and needs
Background checks are a part of the hiring process. I use neither drugs nor alcohol myself, and do not want them used on this property.
