Job brief
Several shifts early morning and later evening 1.5 - 2 hours each. NB: Some of these may become 3-4 hour shifts in the near future. Around 20-30 hours worth of shifts available.
I am looking for a competent personal care assistant to support a physically challenged individual in his everyday life. The fulfillment and satisfaction that comes with helping others hopefully surpasses the challenges of this job.
If you're a compassionate, positive person who isn't afraid to work hard, then this is a job for you. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate.
Responsibilities
Help client dress
Prepare simple meals
Help with their shopping
Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Requirements (preferred)
Above all, reliability
Committed to health safety
Able to do housework and cooking
Well-organized
Communication and people skills
Strong ethics
Physical stamina
Reliable transportation. (Near the Southgate Mall)
Pay is currently currently $11/hour with health insurance available for those with 20 hours/week through the agency.
