Wildland Fire Camp General Laborers are needed for the 2024 season!
Duties include traveling within Montana and Idaho to assist in setting up emergency fire camps. This essential position provides the crucial infrastructure for firefighting personnel.
General Job Tasks & Duties:
Unload and load equipment from trucks and trailers.
Set up tents.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to leave on short notice and travel for multiple days at a time.
Wear PPE and worksite-appropriate work attire.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred but not required.
Experience operating a truck and pulling a trailer is a bonus.
Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
Background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment.
Job Type: On-call seasonal position/ multiple days in the field required
Wage: $16/hr. work time and $10.30/hr. drive time
