Job Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles, including engine work, transmission repairs, brakes, and suspension.
Conduct multi-point inspections and provide recommendations for needed services.
Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues accurately.
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards.
Keep detailed records of repairs and parts used.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Communicate with service advisors regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
Handling some customer interactions/ invoicing.
Requirements:
Preferred 2+ years of experience as an auto mechanic. Willing to train the right person. (Subaru experience preferred but not required).
ASE certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently and independently.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be reliable.
Must have own set of basic tools (specialty tools provided).
