Looking to hire a carpenter's apprentice. Experience isn't necessary. We do mostly framing and siding, but also other carpentry related work. I would like to hire someone who is responsible, well kempt, mild mannered, and hungry for knowledge.
Skills required
-ability to lift "heavy" objects and work at heights
-ability to work off of a ladder or scaffold system
-ability to work on a roof and stand on walls/trusses
-ability to listen and retain information related to tasks
-attention to detail, and willingness to abide by proper installation procedures
I do understand that some of those things mentioned in the skills section you may have never had the chance to do. If that is the case just ask yourself if you could see yourself doing these things and be honest.
