What will you do in this job?Reports to work on time in a neat and clean uniform.

Obtains instructions from manager at the beginning of the shift.

Serves coffee/espresso drinks to guests, in a friendly and outgoing manner.

Maintains effective portion controls in the Espresso area using established pouring methods.

Keeps Espresso area neat and clean throughout service.

Collects currency, makes change and gives receipt with every transaction.

May assist with dining room attendant duties and banquets and events; Includes bussing tables, running food & beverages, assisting with set up, service and clean-up of events, and may include shifts as Pool attendant at Glacier Park Lodge.

Takes part in all sales goals and incentive programs. Greets and informs guests of promotions and makes yes-yes choices available to the guest.

Participates in on-going employee training and accepts coaching and feedback professionally.

Ensures standards of appearance, safety and sanitation are maintained on a daily basis.

Handles guest concerns in a professional manner and takes fast and appropriate action to solve problems.

Responsible for following federal, state and company policies and regulations for serving (alcoholic) beverages in a responsible manner.

Maintains line of communication between Manager, Host/Hostess, Kitchen, Bar and Event staff.

Adheres to all Company policies and regulations.

May be assigned shifts working with Events team for setup, serving, bussing, bartending, etc. of wedding and other group events at the hotel.

Assists with other responsibilities as requested.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?Ideal Experience Must be 18 years of age or older.

1-2 years’ experience in a barista position preferred.

Hospitality POS systems experience desirable.

Must have good table service skills.

Must have knowledge of register accounting.

Strong interpersonal skills required.

Must be pleasant, helpful, friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous in dealing with guests and co-workers.

Must be team-oriented, positive and upbeat.

Able to handle guest concerns in a tactful and caring manner.

Must be able to work varied shifts.

Must possess neat and pleasant grooming habits

Must communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with a solid attention to detail.

Must bring a keen eye for detail, organization, safety and cleanliness to improve GPC front-of-house culinary operations.

Must bring a positive, helpful, team-oriented, “we can do this together” attitude to all aspects of the job that inspires others.

Must exhibit a real curiosity about the business for not only F&B, but also GPC and for Pursuit overall.

Must ask good questions and drill down into details to improve the business.

Must process information quickly and take initiative to recommend solutions to F&B challenges.
