Job Description:
Diagnose and Repair Engine, Aftertreatment, and Electrical faults using OEM Software.
Ability to reprogram onboard computers/modules using OEM software.
Inspect brakes systems, transmission, mechanical, and electrical components on trucks.
Perform mechanical maintenance including replacing wheel seals, brakes, and other minor mechanical repairs.
Safely perform assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Participate in training programs, maintain, and update safety skills and knowledge, and keep current with hazardous material training requirements.
Maintain neat and orderly work area.
Required Qualifications:
Class B or A CDL Preferred.
Experience repairing heavy duty Class 8 trucks preferred.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and Motor Vehicle Record check.
Must have adequate hand tools to perform daily duties.
Knowledge of diesel engine and Aftertreatment components and their operations a plus.
Knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment.
Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics, operations, functions, and diagnostic procedures is preferred.
