Omaha Track Equipment specializes in custom building, fabricating,and maintain all types of Maintenance of Way (MOW) equipment &Construction equipment.We care about your work-life balance with NO NIGHTS & NO WEEKENDS!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Primary responsibilities include repair of various types of trucks & equipment with hydraulic systems. Secondary responsibilities include various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.Proficient in assigned welding techniques such as ARC & MIG welding and knowledge of wire & filler materials Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbols Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) Welding equipment maintenance Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools Process inspection, certification, and documentation Conventional and precision measuring instruments Class 8 and medium duty DOT inspections with general repairs of brakes, suspension, steering & electrical.
