Community Based Orgainzation looking for a bookeeper to work closely with CEO. Grant and non-profit experience a plus. Must be comfortable presenting financials to board members at quarterly meetings.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized part-time bookkeeper to join our team. This position is perfect for retirees looking to maintain their skills while enjoying a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Manage financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
Prepare monthly financial reports
Reconcile bank statements
Process payroll and prepare payroll taxes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Qualifications:
Previous bookkeeping experience is preferred
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent communication skills
Schedule:
Flexible hours with a requirement of at least one in-house meeting per week. Options for remote work are available outside of in-house commitments.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
Hours: Flexible, with a requirement to be in-house at least once a week.
