The Encore Resort Brunch Gourmet Food Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional, personalized dining experience to guests in a vibrant resort brunch setting at Wynn Las Vegas. This role ensures the highest level of service through expert menu knowledge, refined service execution, and attentive guest engagement.The Gourmet Food Server serves as the primary point of contact for guests, managing all aspects of the dining experience while upholding Wynn’s Forbes Five-Star standards and commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities  Guest Experience & Service DeliveryProvide attentive, personalized service to guests throughout the dining experienceAnticipate guest needs and preferences to deliver a seamless and memorable experienceMaintain a polished, professional presence consistent with luxury service expectationsBuild rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits and enhance satisfaction  Order Taking & Menu ExpertiseDemonstrate extensive knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offeringsAccurately take and enter food and beverage orders, including modifications and dietary restrictionsProvide expert recommendations based on guest preferences and dining occasionClearly communicate menu descriptions, ingredients, and preparation methods  Food & Beverage ServiceExecute proper sequence of service, including presentation, timing of courses, and table maintenanceEnsure all food and beverages are served with accuracy, proper presentation, and attention to detailMaintain continuous awareness of table status to coordinate course pacing  Table Maintenance & Service PrecisionMaintain a clean, polished, and organized table throughout the dining experienceCoordinate with bussers and food runners to ensure seamless service flowPerform pre-bussing and reset elements as needed to maintain table readinessEnsure all details of the table presentation meet Wynn standards  Guest Relations & Service RecoveryAddress guest concerns promptly, professionally, and with discretionPartner with management to implement service recovery when necessaryDeliver consistent, high-quality service to all guests, including VIP clientele  Financial & Operational ResponsibilitiesAccurately process guest checks and handle all related financial transactionsUpsell menu items, specialty dishes, and beverages to drive revenueMaintain awareness of sales goals and support department performance  Coordination & Team CollaborationWork closely with hosts, food runners, bussers, and culinary teams to ensure smooth operationsCommunicate guest preferences, allergies, and special requests effectivelyParticipate in pre-shift meetings and team briefings to align on daily priorities  Compliance & Brand StandardsAdhere to Wynn grooming, uniform, and presentation standards at all timesFollow all health, safety, and sanitation regulationsUphold Wynn’s core values and luxury brand standards in all guest interactionsExecute all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures
