The Fine Dining Host Person is responsible for delivering an exceptional first and last impression for guests within a luxury restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas. This role ensures a seamless, refined arrival and seating experience through attentive service, detailed coordination, and personalized guest engagement.The Host Person serves as the central point of communication for guest flow, reservations, and front-of-house organization while upholding Wynn’s Forbes Five-Star standards and commitment to service excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Arrival PresentationGreet all guests with poise, warmth, and professionalism, using eye contact and personalized acknowledgment when possibleAnticipate guest needs and preferences to provide a tailored, elevated experienceMaintain a polished, confident presence that reflects the luxury positioning of Wynn restaurantsEnsure each guest’s arrival and departure experience is seamless, gracious, and memorable Reservations & Seating CoordinationManage reservations and guest seating with precision, balancing service pacing and guest expectationsCoordinate VIP arrivals, special occasions, and high-priority reservations with management and service teamsProvide accurate wait times and manage waitlists while maintaining guest satisfactionOptimize seating flow to ensure efficiency without compromising the guest experience Luxury Service DeliveryDemonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of arrival experience (greeting standards, seating, menu presentation, guest transitions)Maintain awareness of dining room atmosphere, including guest mix, pacing, and overall ambianceUphold Forbes Five-Star service standards through attentive, thoughtful, and proactive guest interaction Communication & Guest CoordinationAct as a liaison between guests, servers, and management to communicate guest preferences, VIP status, and special requestsMaintain clear, constant communication with front-of-house teams to ensure readiness for seated guestsRelay guest feedback and service opportunities to leadership in real time Guest Relations & Service RecoveryHandle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with discretion, urgency, and professionalismCoordinate with management to execute service recovery when necessarySupport special guest needs, including accessibility, celebrations, and customized dining arrangements Operational ExcellenceMaintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the host stand and entry areaEnsure menus, reservation systems, and guest materials are accurate and properly maintainedComplete all opening and closing procedures and adhere to established operational standardsAttend pre-shift meetings to stay informed of VIPs, menu updates, and daily priorities Compliance & Brand StandardsAdhere to all Wynn grooming, appearance, and uniform standardsFollow all health, safety, and sanitation regulationsExecute all responsibilities in accordance with Wynn policies and departmental proceduresAct as an ambassador of Wynn’s brand, values, and culture
