Specific Skills for Customer Service Representatives:
Handling inbound calls and follow-up appointment scheduling
Maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor, even during high call volumes
Customer service is a top priority in this role
Specific Skills for Revenue Cycle Support/Benefits & Eligibility:
Verifying patient benefits, calculating co-pays, and communicating estimated fees to patients before services
Communicating with referring physician offices and insurance carriers
Verifying and entering patient information accurately (e.g., name, date of birth, gender)
Strong knowledge of managed care products (HMO, PPO, EPO)
Specific Skills for Surgical Coordinator:
Coordinating surgical cases and working closely with ASC staff
Maintaining communication with physicians regarding their case load
Obtaining insurance authorizations for surgical cases and being knowledgeable of Nevada insurance payor mix
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in pain management is a plus
Experience with Advanced MD EMR is a plus but not required
