Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Personnel
FLSA Status: hourly
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must take and pass a prescreen drug test
Must possess a HS Diploma or GED
Must possess proven experience as a maintenance personnel
Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, construction, carpentry, electrical systems, HVAC, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Position requires physical work with material handling and lifting up to 50 lbs., good hand & eye dexterity, and continuous walking
Must have forklift & Automotive repair & maintenance experience.
Must be willing to learn other trades and have a desire to learn new skills
Must be able to fluently read, write and speak English
Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus
Summary:
Work in the North Las Vegas facility. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work with little supervision. Must be able to efficiently make all repairs and upkeep operations of the company's facilities, forklifts, and vehicles. Minor repairs of electrical, HVAC, Evap cooler and plumbing equipment. A great candidate will have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical, forklifts and other vehicles to support daily operations. HVAC and Evap systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations.
The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company's business operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain the cleanliness of the work area they work in.
Daily maintenance to forklifts and other vehicles
Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
Check all systems of buildings to ensure functionality
Plan and implement all repair and installation activities in house or sub contractor.
Keep maintenance logs and reports on daily activities
Provide relevant feedback to Manager to enable continuous product improvement
Adhere to all Safety and Health policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned.
