Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee the development of single-family home projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential construction, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. A candidate with light commercial construction experience would be very beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of the construction process, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting for single-family homes.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, site superintendent, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure timely project milestones.
- Monitor project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to maintain quality standards, adherence to plans, and safety regulations.
- Work closely with site superintendents to resolve on-site issues and work to prevent delays, quality concerns, or budget overruns.
- Provide updates to stakeholders on project status, addressing any changes or concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing single-family residential construction projects.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety protocols, and residential construction methods.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software desired.
- OSHA 30 card.
