Join a team that has the environment down to a science.Your OpportunityStantec is actively seeking on-call Environmental Engineering Intern (entry-level) support for the Water Resources and Engineering Group of our Environmental Services team of scientists, engineers, planners and other environmental professionals in our Northern Nevada business unit, based in the Reno, Nevada, office.As an on-call intern, you will be part of a team supporting various environmental compliance and engineering work including grading and utility design, stormwater, hazardous materials and waste, biological resources, and cultural resources.You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-discipline environment and contribute to meaningful restoration, monitoring, and pre-construction projects in the recreation, transportation, water, and energy industries.Your Responsibilities

Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil engineering projects ranging from campgrounds, parks, recreational space, waterfront, ADA accessibility, and transit facilities.

Responsibilities include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple design calculations, and field inspections.

Manage technical data and prepare tables and figures

May assist in storm water modeling efforts.

Your Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma. Some college experience preferred.
