Job Title: Senior Civil EngineerJob DescriptionThe Sr Civil Engineer will help alleviate the workload of other Sr Engineers by managing entire projects from inception to completion. This role offers a balanced work-life schedule, averaging 45-50 hours per week. The projects include a variety of transportation design tasks for local agency clients, involving roadways, complete streets, trails, and drainage/water quality in the Truckee Meadows, the Tahoe Basin, and the Eastern Sierra. The position involves managing projects to meet or exceed client requirements, identifying new business opportunities, developing project scopes and proposals, and maintaining positive client relationships. Responsibilities also include preparing plans, specifications, and engineer’s estimates, reviewing field reports, providing guidance to office and field personnel, and mentoring project team members.Hard Skills

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
15 years of progressive civil engineering experience
Nevada Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain reciprocity within the first 6 months
Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
