About Us:
The Jesse is a boutique hotel, bar, and restaurant in downtown Reno, known for craft cocktails, and warm hospitality. We’re seeking an experienced, energetic bartender to join our team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and speed
Engage guests with friendly, professional service that reflects The Jesse’s style
Welcome hotel guests upon arrival, assist with check-in procedures, and provide basic information about their stay.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
Follow all drink recipes and presentation standards for consistency
Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties
Comply with Nevada alcohol laws and all company rules
Requirements:
Must be 21+ years old
2+ years bartending experience preferred (craft cocktail knowledge is a plus)
Current Nevada alcohol server card (or ability to obtain before start date)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
We Offer:
Competitive pay: $12/hour base + tips
Overtime after 40 hours/week
Staff meal provided for shifts 6 hours+
