FUNCTION: Responsible for the service of food and beverages to restaurant guests in an efficient and professional manner. Ability to balance the needs of a diverse clientele while facilitating a dining experience that guests will savor long after they have taken the last bite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Approaches and recognizes guests immediately with a friendly greeting and informs them of daily specials.

2. Assists guests with beverages, demonstrating salesmanship with complete menu and product knowledge.

3. Ensures food order is correct before serving to the guests.

4. Notifies line chef of any food products that are not properly prepared.

5. Monitors guests' needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfilled.

6. Follows sanitation and table maintenance standards for an amazing guest service.

7. Assists other employees with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.

8. Address guest concerns and or complaints in a timely and professional manner

9. Regular predictable attendance is required.

10. Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state and federal regulations.

11. Communicate effectively with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.

12. Perform work in a safe manner and maintain a safe environment for team member and guests.

13. Immediately report unsafe conditions and team member or guest incidents to a member of the management team or Security.

14. Maintain a positive and professional image when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourage others to do the same.

15. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Restaurant Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 21 years of age

EDUCATION LEVEL:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

LANGUAGE:

Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.

EXPERIENCE:

1-2 years food serving experience in a high-volume restaurant. Fine dining experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Transport trays and/or plates throughout the restaurant which may weigh up to 50 pounds.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

Sparks Server Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification required.
