I am a quadriplegic senior gentleman that needs ambitious caregivers to work night shift. This is a full-time position working 3 to 4 days a week all Shifts are 12 hours. I am a total care (all ADLs) are required for nights. I am very active and go out the community daily with the help of my caregivers. This is not a companionship type of position. The right person will need to reposition me several times throughout the night (this does not require heavy lifting)
Night Shift will need to use a Hoyer lift to transfer me from the chair to bed and so on. I have a very rigid turning schedule throughout the night. Bowel care and showering is done in the morning
Medical experience is a plus but not absolutely necessary.
There are 4 full days of hands-on orientation with orientation on going for several weeks.
I would prefer caregivers with experience. This does not mean that my wife and my staff arenot willing to train the right caregiver.
