Description
Position is responsible for organizing cleaned clothes. Clothes are hung in an order that benefits production completion which will coincide with delivery truck schedule. Position is conducted throughout the day while standing and walking from station to station at a brisk pace. Fast paced position.
FULL TIME EMPLOYEES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND VISION INSURANCE. ALSO, QUALIFIES FOR 40 HOURS OF PAID TIME OFF PER YEAR!
Primary duties
-Separate clothing and place on hangers.
-Delivers clothing to pressing stations.
-Works with machine operator to load and unload dry cleaning machines.
-Learn safe operation of cleaning machines.
Secondary Duties
-Maintaining each production team member with supplies to complete the job.
-Willingness to learn other areas of department.
Requirements
-Trainable
-Personable
-Able to retain knowledge of which stations press what items.
-Able to stand throughout day with exceptions to breaks and lunch.
-Able to crouch, reach and lift arms above shoulders to hang items on hangers repeatedly throughout day.
-Situational awareness to deliver items to pressing stations.
