Snow Tractor Operator
Pay - Monthly Retainer: $2,650 – Winter Season '25-'26
Reports to: Snow Removal Operations Manager
Term: 4–6 months (with potential for full-time hire after the season)
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled operator to lead our winter efforts. While snow-specific experience is a major asset, we value transferable heavy equipment expertise—if you’ve mastered a forklift, backhoe, or other industrial machinery, we want to talk to you.
Experienced Operator with at least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment (Snow, Forklift, Construction, etc.) please apply!
Self-Sufficient: Requires no supervision and consistently completes assigned routes.
Safety & Training: Trains others on safety protocols and operational processes.
Versatility: Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment with precision.
Careful Execution: Operates equipment in a manner that minimizes damage to machinery and client property.
Mechanical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of equipment mechanics and functions.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous heavy equipment operation is a plus (e.g., forklift, tractor, loaders); snow-specific experience is not required—we will train the right candidate.
Documentation: Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
Character: A team player with uncompromising attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Resilience: Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather and thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Safety First: Must prioritize safety and courtesy at all times.
Growth Mindset: A genuine willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
