Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, skilled and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our manufacturing production team. This role involves a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, operating our CNC Routers to cut plywood into cabinet parts, assembling cabinets and other tasks associated with RV production. This position requires basic computer skills. We offer on the job training, but candidates with experience with CNC routers and cabinet assembly will have an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize and maintain cabinet making tools (router bits, sander, etc.) and inventory for supplies and parts (plywood, screws, glue, brackets. etc.).
- Load and operate our CNC routers and dust collectors and other woodworking machinery to produce cabinet components (on the job CNC training provided)
- Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Cut, shape, assemble, and wood and composite materials using hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment (on the job CNC training provided)
- Measure and mark materials for precise cuts and assembly
- Any other production tasks requested
- Maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to safety standards
- Inspect finished products for quality control, ensuring they meet specifications
- Collaborate with engineering to optimize manufacturing processes
- Assist in the development of new cabinet designs and prototypes as needed
Skills
- Loading heavy sheets of plywood onto the CNC router table.
- Wood woodworking skills including cabinetry, framing, trim carpentry, door hanging and drawer assembly and installation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and instructions
- Experience with hand tools, power tools and fabrication techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols and quality standards
- Basic computer skills: Locating and opening files. Moving, copying and renaming files. Searching and locating technical documents.
- Proficiency in CNC routing and machine setup is not required but is a plus
- 3D CAD, CNC CAM, CNC Nesting or Autodesk Fusion experience is not required but is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
