We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ASE-certified Level A Automotive Technician with 6+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, with expertise in gas engine repair, automotive electrical systems, and powertrain diagnostics. Pay is flat rate, and this role involves working on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and performing at their best. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining high-quality and safety standards.
Duties:
Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.
Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues effectively.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
Proven experience in automotive service and repair is required.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various makes and models of vehicles.
Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
Ability to work on a variety of vehicles, newer and older.
Experience with automotive electrical systems and powertrain diagnostics is essential.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics effectively.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are advantageous.
