As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a local, sharp, and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive bids for demolition, FRP, framing, drywall, and acoustical ceiling projects. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, clients, and general contractors to ensure the success of every bid and job.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project plans to develop accurate cost estimates.
Conduct site visits to assess project scope and logistics.
Prepare and submit bids, proposals and takeoffs in a timely manner.
Communicate with vendors and GC to gather pricing and availability.
Track and manage multiple ongoing bids and updates on estimates
Qualifications:
At least 2yrs + experience in drywall estimating.
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial
Proficiency in estimating software (slacks preferably)
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
Reliable transportation.
