Structural Steel Field Erector & Welder
compensation: Pay ranges from $32-$45 DOE

Reputable steel company located in Verdi, NV seeking certified welder for structural steel fabrication and installation. This position is primarily for field work, but shop work will be required at times. Field work requires driving to various job sites using company provided vehicle.
Candidates must be certified, or have been certified in the recent past.
Candidates must have at least 5-7 years welding experience. This is a year-round, full-time position. The wage range listed is for candidates that are experienced, certified, and can perform ALL required tasks below with no supervision.
This is NOT an entry level position.
Candidates will need to be able to work well with clients, fellow employees, and management on a daily basis in person, and on-site.
Position Requirements:
-3G/4G Flux-Core certifications in either 232 or Corshield 8
-Certified in FCAW 3G/4G
-SMAW 7018 3G/4G
-General steel fabrication experience
-Blueprint reading and layout skills
-Good customer service skills and ability to get along well with other
-Taking measurements
-Welding
-Cutting
-Torching
-Lifting
-Assembly
-Layout
-Using heavy machinery
-Driving a forklift
-Ability to work overtime during heavy production times.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - clean DMV
-Candidates must be OK with tight spaces and heights, and various weather conditions.
-Candidates will be required to provide basic tools.
Employees must also obtain/maintain OSHA 10 or 30.
