This is the continuing trainee level in the series and incumbents may progress to the next level in this series by meeting the minimum qualifications, satisfactory performance, and with the recommendation of the appointing authority.This Position is located in the Department of Taxation's Fiscal Services Section in Carson City. This position performs accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Reviews travel claims, payment vouchers, approves to pay invoices, and is the pay clerk for the preparation of various payroll document (special pays, leave donations) for Central Payroll and payroll reconciliations. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating various tracking logs and overseeing Audit billing receipts. This position will oversee 3 accounting assistants.
