Incumbents work in a warehouse, stockroom or office setting and prepare and process documents for the requisition, purchase, receipt, issuance and transfer of goods; expedite the flow of goods from vendor to user; and maintain control records for a variety of property and equipment. The incumbent is responsible for purchasing, receiving, distributing supplies and materials from vendors. Incumbent has the ability to maintain records relating to all purchasing and distributing supplies to all divisions / units. Will maintain perpetual supply inventory and perform periodic physical inventory. Incumbent will be required to reconcile monthly NDOT credit card statements each month, verifying all purchases daily, obtain customer receipts, identify and correct any and all discrepancies. Clearly and effectively communicate with Supervisor, Co-workers and Customers to make the stockroom operate as professional as possible.
