Position SummaryWe are seeking a Product Quality Engineer to support the verification and validation of hardware, firmware, and software products throughout the product development lifecycle.This role is responsible for reviewing product and regulatory requirements, developing comprehensive test plans and test cases, executing manual testing activities, and ensuring product requirements are fully verified and traceable. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product management, automation engineers, test technicians, and quality teams to ensure products meet functional, performance, and regulatory expectations.This position plays a key role in translating requirements into structured verification activities and helping build a scalable regression testing strategy through collaboration with automation and test teams. Essential ResponsibilitiesRequirements Analysis & VerificationReview product, system, and regulatory requirements to ensure they are clear, testable, and traceable.Develop verification strategies that demonstrate compliance with product and regulatory requirements.Create and maintain requirements traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and verification results.Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback regarding testability and risk.Test Planning & Test DevelopmentDevelop and maintain test plans, test procedures, and test cases for hardware, firmware, and software products.Ensure adequate test coverage across functional, integration, system, performance, and regulatory requirements.Identify opportunities for regression testing and automation.Work with automation engineers to transition suitable manual test cases into automated regression tests.Product Verification & ValidationExecute manual verification and validation testing.Document test results and provide clear pass/fail assessments against requirements.Investigate, document, and track defects through resolution.Support regression, integration, and end-to-end system testing activities.Verify fixes and perform impact assessments for product changes.Cross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate testing activities with automation engineers, manual testers, and test technicians.Work with technicians on laboratory and regulatory testing activities requiring specialized equipment or technical expertise.Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve product issues and improve product quality.Provide status updates and test coverage metrics to project stakeholders.
