DescriptionA Project Manager is wanted by a company in the Manchester, New Hampshire area via Robert Half Management Resources with an immediate start date. Skill in accounting functions and systems and a true enthusiasm for keeping financial projects on schedule and creating successful outcomes is crucial for this position. The Project Manager will cooperate with a team of Business Analysts in order to complete detailed requirements documentation, a responsibility that may involve data mapping to accounting systems for proper accounting and reporting of transactions. You'll need to bring a knack for cross-functional collaboration, as this role will require you to incorporate input and feedback from the accounting leadership team and from key participants in other functional areas. Crafts governance approaches for the projects to result in clear communication and issue resolution
Starts and manages work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation
Provides a clear overview of business requirements for business users
Prioritizes concurrent project and support assignments, while meeting stakeholder expectations
Identifies business requirements and business process design and explain them to the development team
Manages project sponsor expectations and deciphers business drivers, as well as recommends changes, when necessary, to project scope, timing, or resources to deliver strategic solutions
Requirements-Experience using ViewPoint
Strong project planning and management tasks, business systems support functions and project costing techniques
Implementation experience desired
An understanding of system projects in a key accounting role is preferential
Possess qualifications to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
Expertise in business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies development
Proficiency in project management software like Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications required
Convey information both orally and in writing to executive management, team members, business and technology professionals
Having a Project Management and/or Business Systems Analyst Certification is a major plus for this role
Ability to exercise independent judgement and act on it
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
