We are seeking a Fire Alarm / Life Safety Inspector to join our growing team in New York City. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in fire alarm systems, code compliance inspections, and life safety systems within commercial, residential, or industrial environments.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, NYC fire/life safety codes, and inspection procedures, along with excellent communication and documentation skills.ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections, testing, and evaluations of fire alarm and life safety systemsEnsure compliance with applicable NFPA standards, NYC building/fire codes, and client requirementsConduct field inspections and identify deficiencies or code violationsPrepare detailed inspection reports and documentationCoordinate with contractors, property managers, engineers, and AHJs as neededSupport fire alarm code consulting activities and provide recommendations for corrective actionsMaintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and service activitiesAssist with project closeouts and compliance verificationPerform all other duties as assigned by manager
