Successful, full service, casual style restaurant seeking an experienced kitchen professional to manage all aspects of the daily operations of our kitchen. This is a leadership role reporting directly to ownership. This role involves working hands-on in the kitchen with a small crew while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation. Previous management experience is needed.
Qualifications:
Able to work 50-55 hours a week
Available to work days, nights & weekends
Strong leadership qualities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills
At least 2 years Kitchen Manager experience within full-service dining
Sales volume exposure of at least $1.5 million annually
Someone who is hands-on & leads by example
Someone who takes pride in the food they are putting out
Must be energetic, guest-focused and eager to lead
Creative mind to come up with new items as our specials change on a weekly basis
Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities
Enforce restaurant policies & procedures
Ensure a high quality of ingredients and food preparation
Train and manage kitchen personnel
Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
Manage the execution of an existing menu
Inventory & ordering
Hiring & terminating
Recipe management
Cost controls (Food & Labor)
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation
