Description This is a hands on position where the Ideal candidate will manage a busy Meals on Wheels site, located in Plaistow, NH at the Vic Geary Senior Center. You will be responsible for overseeing six home delivery routes in the Plaistow area, a Senior Dining Program and Transportation Program. This position is Monday - Friday and hours are approximately 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Experience: Previous food service and management experience is desired. Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation procedures (ServSafe) a plus, but will train. Proficient with Microsoft platforms. This position requires good managerial skills and the ability to multi-task. You will be spending much of your time at a desk and will also spending time in the kitchen each day working with your staff to get meals ready to deliver or to serve. Experience working with seniors and in food service are desired but not required. Driving and criminal record checks will be performed.
