We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team of sunroom installers. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction projects related to sunroom and three season room installations and performing a wide range of carpentry tasks. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in multiple areas of carpentry and construction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications
- Install doors, windows, and other carpentry components
- Perform framing, siding, and roofing tasks
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow blueprints, building codes, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter/Laborer or similar role
- Proficiency in drywall installation, caulking, plastering, siding installation, frame carpentry, and fabrication
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
