As a Hands on carpenter/remodeler will be performing most if not all the work required to complete a remodeling job. Your skillset should match if not exceed the list below. You will be required to make in the field decisions that will progress the job efficiently and within budget. You will be required to deliver High quality work and at quick pace. Ability to make decisions and coordinate the daily duties of the job to avoid wasted time. Time and material saving methods are a must.
Required Qualities For Lead Carpenter/Remodeler:
Non-smoker;
Non-self employed;
Must pass background check;
Excellent communication (verbal and written);
Friendly disposition;
Ability to lead a crew;
Ability to follow instruction;
Ability to handle changes on the fly;
Ability to lead a team and work independently;
Must have your own reliable transportation, truck is helpful;
Must have usual tools of the trade to complete daily tasks;
Punctuality;
Keen Attention to detail;
Organizational skills;
Required Skills for Carpenter/Remodeler; Proficient in but not limited to:
Site Prep and protection
Demo
Framing
Drywall hang and finish
Painting
Tile setting
Cabinet installation
Trim work
Window and door install
Heavy lifting 80 lbs
Keep site Clean and safe

Required education:
High school or equivalent
Trade school Helpful but not required
Required experience:
Carpenter/Remodeler: 10 years min.
Required license: Valid Driver's License mandatory
Compensation:
Hourly rate is above the state average for this w-2 position. $30/hr is possible for the right candidate but first would need to be proven consistently in your work over time.
