Maintenance & Facilities Management Opportunities Memorial Hospital North Conway, NH Full Time
MaineHealth is seeking candidates to join the Maintenance/Facilities Management team in North Conway. There is a position available in general Maintenance, and a Maintenance Tech position with a focus on HVAC as well as additional duties as assigned.
Maintenance I:
Under the direction of the facilities manager performs maintenance and service tasks such as trash removal, ground maintenance, snow removal, building and property maintenance.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
License/Certifications: Valid NH driver’s license. Certification in HazMat, landscaping or other trade licenses as required.
Experience: Minimum of three years related experience including grounds keeping experience required
Maintenance Technician - HVAC:
Performs tasks of the maintenance technician in addition to leading the HVAC program of the hospital and allied facilities. With main focus on HVAC, will also perform preventive and general maintenance duties and housekeeping as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Vocational Education, with 1 -3 years’ experience in Plant engineering or boiler service. Boiler operator's license preferred.
License/Certifications: Valid driver's license. May be required to be licensed in a trade such as plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and/or boiler operation.
Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in hospital maintenance preferred. Must have experience and perform work in compliance with applicable regulations in the following areas: Plumbing, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and associated control equipment.
Requires knowledge of heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration. Must demonstrate understanding of Plant HVAC and circulating systems and ability to trouble shoot these systems for maintenance either by in-house Staff or external Contractor(s).
Requires knowledge in electrical/electronic controls and equipment.
