AP Coordinator

WIN Waste Innovations is a waste management company committed to delivering essential waste management solutions to customers and communities supported by our team of 2,100 employees. WIN Waste Innovations is a vertically integrated business with a platform of 50 strategically located collection, transfer and disposal assets. These include waste-to-energy facilities, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and fleets of rail cars and collection vehicles. We process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper and metals from the waste stream. We currently have an opening for an Accounts Payable Coordinator at our corporate office in Portsmouth, NH. Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. Process high volume Accounts Payable and match PO invoices. Reviews payable invoices and statements for accuracy and match to proper documentation as needed. Corresponds or communicates with vendors when necessary to correct or modify invoices received. Resolves escalated issues with vendors. Corresponds or communicates with Purchasing Analysts or other WIN personnel to identify processing issues on PO invoices. Is responsible for general ledger expense coding on invoices. Organizes and scans invoices processed to properly maintain an orderly and accurate electronic filing system. Provides customer support on supplier account issues both internally and externally. Ensures all received payable invoices are entered timely. Is actively involved in the monthly financial close process to ensure accruals are accounted for. Assists with internal and external audits as they relate to Accounts Payable functions. Performs system testing of enhancements or regression testing due to Microsoft updates. Perform other duties as assigned. Some of these tasks may include but are not limited to: Reconciliations, Check / ACH process, Fuel Card administration, Credit Card administration and projects. Education and Experience: Required: High School diploma or GED equivalent and computer skills. Preferred: Associates Degree and one to three years previous experience in Accounts Payable. Under direct supervision, the Sales Coordinator assists in administering the sales policies and procedures, and provides analytical and statistical support for the Sales Organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. Coordinates Sales programs and acts as a liaison between Sales and other departments. Performs clerical and statistical reporting for Sales on a daily basis. Provides detailed reports to the sales force on ranking, and monitors rankings on a monthly basis. Coordinates maintenance of weekly and monthly reporting, including recommendation of system changes. Audits monthly commission and expense reports to clarify and direct uniform sales policies and procedures. Provides information to Sales Managers on a daily basis. Reviews system changes and preparation of mail campaign. Data entry of new accounts and existing account changes. Designs forms and supervises layout and desktop publishing. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory duties. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
