We are looking for a dedicated Medical Office Coordinator like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsSeeking a Medical Office Coordinator for our practice who provides administrative expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. We want you to apply now.What you will do in this role:· You will assist with all front office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones· You will ensure any patient complaints are handled appropriately· You will develop guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained· You will conduct regular staff meetings· You will manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information· You will ensure the timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into the billing system and assists with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge)What Qualifications you will need:· Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants is preferred· Course-work in healthcare office management is preferred· RMA, CMA, or LPN license is beneficial· CPR Certification is preferredPhysician Services Group (https://careers.hcahealthcare.com/pages/physician-services) is skilled in physician employment, practice and urgent care operations. Corresponds or communicates with vendors when necessary to correct or modify invoices received. Resolves escalated issues with vendors. Corresponds or communicates with Purchasing Analysts or other WIN personnel to identify processing issues on PO invoices. Is responsible for general ledger expense coding on invoices. Organizes and scans invoices processed to properly maintain an orderly and accurate electronic filing system. Provides customer support on supplier account issues both internally and externally. Ensures all received payable invoices are entered timely. Is actively involved in the monthly financial close process to ensure accruals are accounted for. Assists with internal and external audits as they relate to Accounts Payable functions. Performs system testing of enhancements or regression testing due to Microsoft updates. Under direct supervision, the Sales Coordinator assists in administering the sales policies and procedures, and provides analytical and statistical support for the Sales Organization. Coordinates Sales programs and acts as a liaison between Sales and other departments. Performs clerical and statistical reporting for Sales on a daily basis. Audits monthly commission and expense reports to clarify and direct uniform sales policies and procedures. Provides information to Sales Managers on a daily basis.
