As our Purchasing Officer, you'll play a critical role in keeping the hotel operating seamlessly behind the scenes. Working closely with multiple departments, you'll ensure stock levels are maintained, deliveries are accurate, and inventory processes are managed efficiently to support our luxury guest experience.Responsibilities:Receive, inspect and distribute goods, ensuring deliveries meet quality and quantity standards.Maintain accurate inventory records and process stock movements through purchasing systems.Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions to ensure optimal inventory availability.Process departmental requisitions and coordinate timely delivery of requested items.Conduct stock counts, audits and assist with monthly stocktakes.Maintain organised, clean and compliant storage areas in line with food safety standards.Follow purchasing, receiving and inventory control procedures to support efficient hotel operations.Collaborate with departments across the hotel to meet operational requirements and service standards.
