Health & Safety Advisor

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you'll be a member of the site Senior Leadership Team and a visible, trusted safety partner across the Albany site. You'll work closely with the Quality Manager, Engineering, Operations and other site leaders to help shape safety priorities and influence business decisions.This is a hands-on opportunity to coach teams, strengthen safety ownership and improve how risk is managed in a practical manufacturing environment. You'll have the scope to influence change, lead improvement and help ensure everyone goes home safe every day.You'll be involved in:Partnering with leaders and frontline teams to strengthen safety ownership and capabilityMaintaining and continuously improving site HSE systems, standards and reportingLeading audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actionsIdentifying critical risks and helping ensure effective, practical controls are in placeSupporting machinery safety, contractor management and environmental complianceCoordinating HSE training, employee participation and the Site Health & Safety CommitteeBuilding strong relationships across the site to turn improvement opportunities into actionYou'll be part of a collaborative site team where your ideas, judgement and visible presence can make a tangible difference to people and performance.About youYou're a practical, credible safety professional who enjoys being where the work happens.
