Description Systems Administrator to support a territory of our US footprint. The individual in this role will be responsible for the health and exploitation of our Windows platform along with all products related to the server, paying particular attention to the operational activities, proactive capacity management and the surveillance of events. He will also contribute to the execution of various projects and will provide a second level support for Microsoft systems under his responsibility. The individual coordinates various areas within the organization to drive all aspects of change management plan that is leveraged for key regional and global change initiatives, working under the direction of the Director of Information Technology. This is a hands-on role focused on effectively driving IT forward and enforcing a high-quality change control process for the company Responsible for the functioning of Microsoft systems under his supervision such as Active Directory (including on-prem and Azure AD, DNS, ADFS, PKI, DFS, DHCP), Exchange, SCOM, SharePoint, SCCM; Install, maintain and update the operating systems on the physical and virtual servers as well as the Microsoft server software; Oversee the system events to ensure its proper functioning, the maximum availability of the systems and quality of service; Participate in the recovery and backup of Microsoft systems; Perform advanced diagnostics during emergency situations; must be available to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary; Perform system and application updates as well as equipment firmware updates; Maintain the documentation regarding configurations, operations and diagnostic procedures for the Microsoft platform; Participate in the definition of standards, procedures, best practices and metrics as indicated; Assist in the evaluation of new needs, design techniques and standards; Apply and use the tools and work methodologies in place; Answer user questions and service requests; Execute email and network migrations for newly acquired companies; Builds and maintains a detailed understanding of system functionality, operating procedures, related processes, and knowledge base articles. Perform all other related tasks as requested by CTO and Director of Information Technology; Oversee IT operations across multiple companies within a specific geographic region, ensuring effective technology support and infrastructure maintenance. Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 5+ years of relevant work experience, with 3-4 years of Microsoft Infrastructure experience Experience with email and network migrations Outstanding track record managing and leading complex technical implementations Collaborative, flexible approach to problem solving. Outstanding people skills and ability to work effectively in a global team environment. Able to work independently, manage multiple work streams, and have an eye for detail.
